Kira + Jeremy • Marina Village, Mission Beach
Ever meet a couple that makes you feel happy just being around them? That’s totally Kira and Jeremy, two of the funnest, cutest couples we’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. We’re so happy to share a few pics from their big day. We met up with Kira and Jeremy (separately, of course), along with their respective bridesmaids and groomsmen’s (ALL A BLAST!), at the Bahia Resort in Mission Bay. It was fantastic, not only taking photos, but also getting to meet their awesome family and friends. The ceremony and reception were held at the Marina Village, a very lovely and serene spot for such a beautiful celebration. The reception was SO much fun with tons of dancing, a candy buffet, and the SweetBooth! Kira and Jeremy are truly one of the sweetest people we’ll ever meet, and along with their adorable son, wish them a beautiful life as husband and wife. Enjoy!

Crystal+Jason: Tambor, Costa Rica
It’s with great excitement that we present to you all, Jason and Crystal’s wedding photos and a little video Kevin managed to shoot too! When Crystal and Jason told us they were getting married, and in COSTA RICA (YESSS!!) we were incredibly excited for them. And when they told us they wanted XOXO Wedding Photo to be there, we were HONORED and THRILLED!
Crystal and Jason are two of the sweetest, most hilarious people you’ll ever meet! And if you ever do, there is a 100% chance you will be part of an adventure with them. Kevin definitely had an adventure, (or five), with the newlyweds while shooting them on the gorgeous tropical beaches of Tambor, Costa Rica. He was quite spoiled, as he got to stay with Jason, Crystal and their wedding parties at the gorgeous Villa Katino, a home nestled in the jungles with AMAZING ocean views. (see panorama below)
The touching ceremony was held on the rocky and beautifully pre-historic looking beaches near Playa Carmen. In front of God, their dearest friends, and the great Pacific, Crystal and Jason exchanged their vows. As Kevin’s trip came to a close, he made sure to get as much time with the newlyweds as he could! It was definitely hard to say good-bye but the memories he captured will let him, Jason, Crystal, all of the great people he met and befriended relive such a unforgettable time! Kevin’s alternate title for this wedding is “Manhunts, Mel Gibson and The Missing Newlyweds”. Lot’s of stories from this trip! Enjoy!
Sharon + Derek : L’Auberge Del Mar, Del Mar
May 21st was a day of beautiful beginnings, as Sharon and Derek became wife and husband. Kevin and I had a wonderful time with the couple at their engagement shoot in Cabrillo National Park, and couldn’t wait for their big day at the gorgeous and luxurious L’Auberge Del Mar.
The ceremony was held at the lovely Seagrove Park, just a short walk away from the resort. Excited guests, some visiting from as far as Asia, all stood in awe as the beautiful bride made her way down the aisle. The party commenced shortly afterwards as loving toasts were made, delicious food and cake were served, and everyone danced the night away!
We are so EXCITED to share these photos with you all, and wish Sharon and Derek all the best!

Brittany + Zach: Viva Las Vegas!
What do you get when you have one gorgeous pin-up bride, one handsome groom rockin’ a zoot suit, and an iconic hotel featured in the original “Ocean’s Eleven” with Frank Sinatra? Why, Brittany and Zach’s super fun-filled Las Vegas wedding, of course!
We had a blast earlier this year when we shot the newlywed’s engagement shoot, and had been counting down the days to their big day! You remember them from their USS Midway and Mary Jane’s Coffee Shop shoots, right? LOVE those pics!! Ok! Back to the wedding….
The ceremony and reception were held at the famous Flamingo Hotel. Kevin and I split up to hang out with the bride and groom while they got ready. This was a great chance to meet their families and get in on the excitement and buzz in the air! Then we were off to the Garden Gazebo where family and friends gathered to witness the beautiful ceremony. The officiant had very lovely and touching words for the couple, and in the blink of an eye, they were pronounced husband and wife! Party!!
After a stop in the casino, we hopped in a cab and made our way over to the “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign for a quick photo-op. All of the tourists were excited to see the bride and groom–one guy even asked if he could take a picture with them! LOL! After that, we made our way back to the Flamingo and joined their guests for more festivities. We had such a great time and are BEYOND EXCITED to share photos from their wonderful celebration. We wish nothing but the best for Brittany and Zach!
Aimee + Anthony: Bali Hai, Shelter Island
On a beautiful and sunny San Diego Sunday, we had the honor of documenting Aimee and Anthony’s wedding. Kevin and I met the newlyweds last July, for their engagement shoot in Balboa Park and we couldn’t believe it was already their big day!
The ceremony and reception were held at the Bali Hai, a landmark Hawaiian restaurant that has been in San Diego for over fifty years. Aimee and Anthony only had us for a three hours, so we made our way into the reception room and ceremony site to get the photography party started! The centerpieces were these lovely white birdcages decorated with vibrant flowers. So pretty, right?
Once the bride arrived, you could just feel the excitement in the air! Before we knew it, it was time for the beautiful outdoor ceremony. I couldn’t help but get a little emotional when Aimee and her father walked down the aisle. With views of the bay and the downtown skyline, Aimee and Anthony exchanged their vows and became Mr. and Mrs. Wikum.
We wish we would have had more time with the bride and groom but like everyone who’s ever been part of a wedding day, time goes by so fast! Then it was on to the reception where we got to see the newlyweds dance for the first time as husband and wife. I’m so happy we got to capture some fun dancing before it was time for us to go. Aimee’s niece and nephew are just the cutest! Best wishes to Aimee and Anthony! Wishing them a lifetime of love and happiness!
xoxo,
Stephanie
