Kelly & Justin: Santee Lakes Engagement Shoot

We’re so happy to share photos from Kelly and Justin’s engagement shoot. We met up at Santee Lakes Regional Park–a really fun park with several lakes, beautiful trees, and awesome floating cabins. The quacking of ducks and chirping of birds was the soundtrack to the shoot, as they were all out enjoying the lovely warm weather! Sylvia + Jimmy: Elizabethan Gardens, Outer Banks, North Carolina

There’s a reason why those Nicholas Spark’s books are usually set in North Carolina.

With much excitement, we’re happy to share some photos from Sylvia and Jimmy’s sweet Spring wedding. The ceremony and reception were held at the lovely Elizabethan Gardens, a lush venue on the island of Manteo. Family and friends traveled from all parts of the country to celebrate the union of two of the coolest, funniest, sweetest couples there ever was, and will be. Kevin and I wish Sylvia and Jimmy all the best, and a life full of besos y abrazos. XOXO!

Shot a quick panorama and a timelapse of the super moon over downtown San Diego last night.
Clouds were pretty bad and it only peaked out for about 5 minutes.

Jennifer + Jeremy: Coronado Marriott

We are SO EXCITED to share Jennifer and Jeremy’s wedding trailer! There couldn’t be a more cuter couple of “cupcakers” (Google it!) than Jennifer and Jeremy, and I know you’ll agree with me after watching this. The ceremony and reception were held at the lovely Coronado Marriott, on the always breathtaking Coronado Island. Jennifer and Jeremy’s families and friends had a blast, getting down on the dance floor and having the best time ever!
It truly couldn’t have been a more beautiful day for such a sweet couple, and we are so thrilled XOXO was able to be a part of it. Kevin had a wonderful time filming, and I had a blast over at the SweetBooth. It was an unforgettable day, and we wish Jennifer and Jeremy nothing but the best! Enjoy!

It’s with much excitement that we present to you, Michelle and Patrick’s wedding trailer! Kevin had a BLAST with the very beautiful bride and dashing groom, and their respective kickass wedding parties (bridesmaids with flasks=GOOD TIMES!!). The ceremony and reception were held at the GORGEOUS Scripps Seaside Forum, one of our favorite venues EVER, located beachside in La Jolla. Their families and friends had a wonderful time, dancing the night away, all in celebration of the love Michelle and Patrick have for one another. Melissa + Jamie: Ultimate Skybox, Downtown San Diego

The Winter skies were a perfect blue, which set a perfect picture for a perfect day. We started the day meeting up with Melissa and Jamie, truly one of the sweetest and coolest couples we’ve had the privilege of working with. I will never forget how excited they both were for their first look. Definitely a wonderful moment to have witnessed. Festivities followed over at the Ultimate Skybox in Downtown San Diego. They don’t call it “ultimate” for nothing—this venue has gorgeous views of Downtown and Petco Park. Kevin and I are so excited to share Melissa and Jamie’s wedding—our first wedding of 2012! Enjoy!

Hey Everyone! Here’s an example of an album design we worked on awhile back. This an album from Crystal and Jason’s Costa Rican wedding. Love them, and love these pics! In keeping with our goal to always be as green as we can, this album is made of 100% recycled materials. The cover is made from hemp, and the size is 10×13. Pretty awesome right?!

You will see along with the wedding photos, there are several pieces of text from Crystal and Jason’s wedding vows that Kevin designed. You can buy prints of these text designs over at Kevin’s store here. I think it all came out beautifully!! Enjoy! xoxo, Stephanie

As many brides (and grooms) to-be know, there are SO MANY OPTIONS when it comes to well…EVERYTHING! Flowers, cakes, bridesmaid dresses…the list goes on and on. So it’s really inspiring when I see REALLY cute and fun ideas at weddings that go beyond the expected. Having the pleasure of being at a lot of weddings last year, I wanted to share a couple of those super adorable ideas we saw, along with where to find them online!!! Hope this can save you some time while you keep on with your wedding planning!

1. Wire Hangers
The personalized wedding dress hanger!
I can’t think of a cuter way to celebrate your new name (if you decide to change your last name, of course!). We saw this at Faye & Jonathan’s wedding and Liz & Matt’s wedding last year. I found several shops on Etsy that create and sell these sweet hangers. PS: You don’t have to get Mrs. New Lastname, too—lots of other cute options like hearts and just your names.

2. Bird Cages
Realizing the cost of flowers is cutting into your honeymoon fund? Try something different like vintage bird cages! We saw this at Aimee & Anthony’s wedding last April. It’s such a whimsical alternative to flowers, and for whomever wins the centerpiece has a cool decoration that will last a lot longer than flowers.
I found some vintage bird cages on Etsy, too, although a trip to Michael’s or even Home Goods would be worthwhile.

3. Fingerprint Tree
What comes to mind when you think ‘fingerprints’?! I used to think of ‘Dateline NBC’, but now I think of the super duper cute thumbprint trees we saw at Sarah & John reception and Lisa & Chris’ sign in table.

4. Letterpress

Ever heard the expression, “First impressions count”? If this is important to you, you may want to look at letterpress invitations.
