Sabrina + Albert: The Powerhouse in Del Mar
It’s with much excitement that we present to you, Sabrina and Albert’s wedding trailer! Both the ceremony and reception were held at the lovely Powerhouse Community Center located just a few steps from the crashing waves of Powerhouse Beach in Del Mar. It was a beautiful day, joining two families and two cultures brought together by the love Sabrina and Albert have for one another. We wish the newlyweds nothing but the best and hope you enjoy! Kayla and Andrew…thank you for including us in your gorgeous, lovely wedding day. The sky was blue, the birds were chirping. The bride and groom–total babes. It was perfect. Now offering 4K (Ultra HD) wedding videos! – Simulimagery
XOXO Wedding Studio is now offering 4K wedding videos!
Not sure what 4K is? Just look at the illustration above. 4K (also known as UltraHD) is four times the resolution as 1080 (BluRay resolution). It’s shot with special cameras that shoot at this massive resolution. 4K or UltraHD TV’s are just now coming to the market from all the major television manufacturers. You can see SONY’s 84″ 4K TV at, I think, any of their SONY STYLE stores in malls all across America.
What’s so special about 4K? Why would you want it? Well, it’s like real life. I mean it is literally JUST like you were there. Once you see it in person, you would understand. I actually think a wedding is the perfect event for 4K. It’s an event that you want to be able to relive just like the day itself right? Shooting it in 4K is the closest we’ll have to taking a time machine back to your wedding day, that is until Doc Brown gets that DeLorean working right!
One last pretty amazing feature of shooting your wedding video in 4K UltraHD is that you can grab a still frame from the video and print it. The resolution is so big that prints can be made from the video! You could then just have your wedding captured in 4K and not hire a separate wedding photographer. I’m calling this simulimagery.

Irma + Henry: Coronado Community Center
Happy New Year!! With a new and exciting year comes our first blog of 2013, and we can’t think of better way to kickoff it off then with Irma and Henry’s wedding trailer!! How freakin’ cute are these two?! With gorgeous views of the San Diego Bay, the ceremony and reception were held at the beautiful Coronado Community Center. Family and friends had a fabulous time, celebrating the love that Irma and Henry for one another.
We also want thank Henry for his service in the United States Navy. We are so grateful and honored to have been a part of their big day! Enjoy! XOXO!

Zhenya + Shaun: Private Residence, La Jolla
Kevin and I are SO HAPPY to share some photos of Zhenya and Shaun’s AWESOME wedding! As soon as we met Zhenya and Shaun (via Skype–they live in Australia!!!), we couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding. Both their intimate ceremony and reception were held at a gorgeous Spanish-style private residence. It was wonderful meeting their family and friends, an amazing group of people who travelled from literally all over the world to celebrate their love. Zhenya and Shaun are two of the most genuinely sweet and kind people EVER, and we wish them nothing but the best as husband and wife!! Enjoy! XOXO!
Nicole + Matt • The Crossings • Carlsbad, CA
Kevin and I ARE SO SO SO excited to share Nicole and Matt’s wedding trailer!! Nicole and Matt are an amazing couple and had an amazing wedding day to match. The ceremony and reception were held at The Crossings in beautiful Carlsbad. Kevin had a blast spending the day not only with the gorgeous bride and groom (seriously how good looking are these two?!), but with their hilarious wedding parties. Family and friends had an incredible time celebrating the love Nicole and Matt have for each other, and we’re just blessed to have been part of their day.
