Liz + Matt: La Estancia Hotel & Spa, La Jolla
You know the saying “save the best for last”? Well we like to think this rings true with Liz and Matt’s beautiful December wedding, our final one of 2011. The ceremony and reception were held at the gorgeous La Estancia Hotel & Spa in dreamy La Jolla. With her white, shimmering gown and golden curls, Liz looked like a princess straight out of a fairy tail-so beautiful! And Matt looked very handsome–seriously such a beautiful couple. After their heartwarming ceremony, guests partied and danced the night away all in celebration of the new Mr. & Mrs.! Kevin had an awesome, awesome time meeting their friends and family and being able to be part of such a lovely and joyous day. We are SO excited to share Liz and Matt’s beautiful day with you all and hope you enjoy it!
Leah + Drew: Carlsbad Inn Beach Resort, Carlsbad
Kevin and I are so happy to share our first blog of 2012 with some pics from Leah and Drew’s beautiful beach-side wedding!! It couldn’t have been a prettier day to get married! The sun was out, the sky was blue, and the bride looked ever so lovely in her gorgeous lace dress. The ceremony was held at the Carlsbad Inn Beach Resort, a very charming European style hotel with a fantastic view of the Pacific. Family and friends gathered to witness and celebrate the love Leah and Drew have for one another and it was quite moving. We are so excited for them and wish them a marriage filled with many, many days just as joyous as their wedding day. Enjoy!
Goodbye 2011! Hello 2012!
As the year comes to an end, we happily reflect on all of the beginnings Kevin and I were witness to. People dedicating themselves to each other, completely and full of love before their families and friends. People taking the next step and letting their soul mates know “you are the ONE” with proposals of marriage.
With all of this in mind, I wanted to share a photo, one of my favorites this year from Shawna and Eric’s wedding. I believe it really sums up how exciting beginnings can be–when you’re side by side with your best friend and partner, with the support of your family and friends.

Megan + John: Presidio Park and Embarcadero Park, San Diego
We’re so happy to share our final engagement shoot of the year, starring Megan and John! How cute are they?! We had a lot of fun, beginning our shoot at the lovely Presidio Park, and concluding at just in time to watch the sun set at the Embarcadero. Megan and John are one of the sweetest couples we’ve had the pleasure of working with, and can’t wait for their wedding in July! Enjoy and Happy Holidays!!
Jamie + Melissa: East Village and Harbor Drive Pedestrian Bridge, San Diego
We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect night during our shoot with the super awesome twosome Jamie and Melissa! Why you ask? Well the weather was PERFECT and everybody was too busy watching the Chargers game, leaving Downtown San Diego all to ourselves! Total VIP status. We did some shots near the COOLEST ballpark in the country, Petco Park, and then cruised over to the very cool and developing industrial neighborhood of East Village. This area has special meaning to Jamie and Melissa, because they’ll be getting married in a venue overlooking the ballpark–so awesome!! Just as the sun began to set, we ran over the Harbor Drive pedestrian bridge, our most favorite new landmark of Downtown. I ABSOLUTELY love these photos. I hope we were able to capture the true and beautiful love Jamie and Melissa have for each other. Totally has us greatly anticipating their wedding next February. Enjoy!!
